Arrests Increase Amidst Aggressive and Far-Reaching Enforcement Strategies

The Independent reported this week that arrests of immigrants by Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) increased by nearly 30,000 between January and September of this year compared to the same period in 2016. The percentage of non-criminals arrested also increased from 16 to 28 percent.
